2007 MSA Champion and FIA No. 2. Now recovered from engine damage which ruined 2008 campaign. Began 2009 qualifying 2nd at Easter Thunderball (MSA Rnd.1), tyre-shaking to semi-final defeat. Then hit sensational form at next two races. Scored perhaps his greatest race win at the Main Event (MSA Rnd.2), demolishing Europe’s best and setting new Euro ET record. Won Summer Nationals (MSA Rnd.3) in similar style, clocking his first 230mph terminal speeds. Of 14 qualifying and elimination passes at these two events, three strayed into the 6.2’s.
