MSA British Drag Racing Championship
Robert Koper

Robert Koper

Car: Chevrolet Monte Carlo
Occupation: American car sales
Home Town/Country: Heemskerk, Netherlands
Team: Team Pro Street Dragracing
Best ET: 6.717 seconds
Best Terminal Speed: 208.78mph
Netherlands

Using an unblown, nitrous oxide-assisted engine, Robert was one of last year’s most improved racers, achieving his goal of entering the 6-second zone and finishing with a personal best ET of 6.78sec.

Robert started the 2007 season with his familiar Chevrolet Monte Carlo, qualifying provisionally 14th (6.84) at May’s rained-off Main Event (MSA Rnd. 2). In July’s FIA race at Mantorp Park, Sweden, he clocked a new personal-best ET (6.71) but missed the cut in Europe’s quickest-ever Pro Mod field.

He has a new car, a 1968 Pontiac Firebird, on order from US builder Vanishing Point Race Cars.
